Athelstan Sound
I've been an active member of Athelstan sound for a number of years, now-and I've enjoyed the exercises that I've been involved with, from responding to
text to undertaking vocal compositions, scored by other members.
I love the diverse range of people who attend, from those with backgrounds as classically trained musicians, to theorists, to avid experimenters, like myself-
and the way that we can all communicate something from very basic means, often working together with contrasting elements, and ambiguous scores,
sourced from Fluxus composers, or similar.
I've been lucky enough to appear on the radio, as part of A.S, as well as being involved in live performances-from performing vocal compositions scored by
other members, to improv happenings, at venues like Turner Contemporary.
